Waterfall Grojogan Sewu-Sri Gethuk

Grojogan Sewu, Tawangmangu, Karanganyar, Central Java

This is the picture of the waterfall. you can go there by public transportation, like we do. From Jogja first you have to go to Solo, you can go there by train, than you have to take two more bus to go there (unfortunately i forget the name of the bus :D just ask people nearby). That you should remember that this public transportation will be off duty in the afternoon around 4 O'Clock. Do Re-check by asking the driver, coz if you're late, than you have to stay a night there and find a hotel.

I cann't describe a lot with this waterfall, just come and see, cause this waterfall is in the list 'must come' :D

Both of this place are in Dlingo, Bantul.
not too far from jogja and you can still go there by motorcycle, just take around 1 hour.

Klayar Beach

I think this is the most beautiful beach that i've ever seen.

why?

first, because it has a white sand,
second, it has quite environment (since not too much people known about this place)
third, it's a wide beach
forth, coz i've been riding a motorcycle by my own (as a girl) from jogja :D

yes, i was riding a motorcycle, from jogja to this place in Pacitan East Java.
quite far, takes around 3 hours to get there.

Spend around Rp. 30.000,- of gasoline or similar with 6 litre (if i'm not mistaken)

you can also make a tent and have a camp there, like we did
as long as you still keep your area clean and throw your garbage at the right place

to go there not so difficult, just follow the big road at the south and go to the east
pass wonogiri and not far from Pacitan city itself :)

Timang Beach and Dieang Plateu

Timang beach

The beach is not too big, small but beauty. The sand is white and clean.

Placed in Gunung Kidul Yogyakarta. To go there is quite difficult, coz it's a long road to reach and beside that the road is also not that smooth (some kind of offroad). The special one with this beach is because it have the chair with a 'kerekan' similar like a flying fox :)

Dieng
Placed in Wonosobo. A lot of place in Dieng that you can visit, like a temple crater not many more, the places are truly beautiful, hope you can visited all :)

Sindoro- merapi

Suggestion for everyone who wants to explain further about their trip, please do it right after the trip coz the memories are still fresh :D
anyway it's a little bit long time for me to write about this trip, but still it's a lovely memory to be written.

Sindoro, not the highest mountain in Java, but still that high for me. the high is 3150 M dpl. The place is not far from Sumbing (the highest mountain in central Java) just separated by a road of Wonosobo-Magelang.
The path is not as difficult as Sumbing, but still for me it's pretty exhausted :(

The basecamp for registered is not far from the road, just about 100 m. Started with long road of farm then entering the forest. We started to hiking after isya and reach a place named pos IV around 02.00 O 'clock in the morning.
in this place we can build a tent and camp for a while. After take a rest for a couple of hours, around 9 O'clock we start to move again. Around one hour there should be an edelweis field, but unfortunately when we came there edelweis haven't blossom yet.

Rain fall at around 11.00 O 'clock. In this high with this rain i feel so cold, so unfortunately i stopped my self and decided not to go further and go back down to the last stop while my friends still climbed up.

Conclution for this journey, the path actually not too difficult, a lot of trees and not dry, but there's no river or any other water source.

Merapi, this mountain is an active mountain quite famous mountain that you hear in Yogyakarta. The high is 2918 M dpl. Usually people comes from a place named Selo, this way is the easier way to climb this mountain.

Start by registered in the base camp we climbed around 10.00 pm and reach a place called pasar bubrah around 4 am. At this high in this time, the weather is very cold. well, again me as the 'weakest' person in team have to take a lot of rest in the tent. I almost decided not to climbed to the top because of this, but all of my friend support me to do it.

Finally slowly but sure i get to the top which is called puncak Garuda. The view was very good, this is truly unforgetable moment.

conclution for this journey, the path is quite easy in summer, no water saource, from pasar bubrah to the top the road is full of sand and rock, have to be more careful.
